Centre d'Usinage St-Bernard came into being in 1990 with the help of a young mecanical engineer, Jocelyn Grenier. The firm specialized in manufacturing and repairing factory equipment. In 1997, he saw a bigger future on the horizon. He decided to move the company to the St-Lambert industrial park to take advantage of a bigger workspace and also the close proximity to Quebec City.
A few years later, in 2000, our firm took a new direction with the acquisition of our first computer numerical control machine, progessively leaving the machine manufacturing and repairing business to concentrate more on mass-production manufacturing of small and medium parts.
Investments in computer numerical control and our hard-working team has resulted in excellence, year over year, up to a point that our company has become prisoner to its own management system. Usinage St-Lambert met a new challenge at the end of 2006, integrating an E.R.P. system to better control its operations. This 2 year project has offered the company a world class administrative and production management system, rapidly increasing company revenue.
